Compression therapy

Compression therapy is a supporting treatment for varicose veins involving the use of a stepped compression. Specialized products provide gradient compression pressure - the strongest at the level of the ankle and the lightest on the thigh. This specialist construction of this type of product facilitates outflow of venous blood from the lower extremities and reduces venous hypertension. In addition, after almost all treatment of varicose veins, with the exception of intravascular glue, you should use compression therapy class 2. In order to choose specialized compression stockings you should consult a doctor, who performs Doppler ultrasound certifying that there are no contraindications to compression therapy.
